NRP-led Nevis Administration commemorates second anniversary with prayer and thanksgiving

On the second Anniversary of serving the people of Nevis, the Nevis Reformation Party-led Nevis Island Administration (NIA), headed by the Premier of Nevis, Hon. Joseph Parry began its celebration with a Prayer Service at the St. George's Anglican Church on Sunday, July 6th 2008.
 
The early morning church service which was held at the St. George's Anglican Church in Gingerland, Nevis, began with a procession of the Clergy and Government Officials.
 
Words of welcome and introduction came from Dr. Rev. Canon A. B. H. Percival.
 
The team of Government Officials played a pivotal role in the service. Premier Parry, Hon. Robelto Hector and Advisor to the Premier, Mr. Llewellyn Parris, all lead scripture readings.
 
The service set the tone for a week of prayer and thanksgiving for the blessings bestowed on the NRP Government and the people of Nevis over the years. 
 
The congregation was packed with well wishers and other party supporters who came out to celebrate with the NRP led NIA.
 
The week of celebration continues with the following activities: Thursday, July 10th, 2nd Anniversary Address on Television and Radio by the Premier; Friday, July 11th, Public Meeting at the Villa / Charlestown at 7:30pm; Saturday, July 12th, Community Day/ Fun Day at the Ramsbury Playing Field at 1p.m which includes a 20/20 Cricket Match. The celebration will culminate with a Service of Prayer and Thanksgiving at St.Thomas Anglican Church at 4pm and on Sunday, July 13th,  followed by a 2nd Anniversary Cocktail Party at Rumours in Newcastle at 7p.m.
